FREIGHT POLICY

FREIGHT POLICY FOR FRAGILE, LARGER ITEMS & FURNITURE:

As a small business with limited space and no facilities for packaging items plus previous bad experiences with damaged goods sent by regular couriers within NZ, we now only use Pack and Send (who collect from our store and package it up themselves, taking responsibility for any damaged goods).

For larger pieces/furniture that can't be picked up by you in person or if you live out of town, we can arrange delivery through a removal company, the quote being dependant on the cubic measurements of the item (and sometimes the weight as well), plus the destination address.

We offer this as a service to our customers and are happy to arrange this process, however once it has left our store we no longer take responsibility for the item.

The transport company will be given all contact and delivery details to arrange directly with yourself. If the item is damaged in transit, this is out of our hands and will need to be handled by yourself and the transport company. Alternatively, If you have a courier/transport company you prefer to use, we can arrange that too.
